ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Joah Brown.

I was raised a vegetarian and throughout my childhood my mother continuously explained the importance of eating whole plant-based foods and consuming products in their unprocessed forms. I was taught to consider the healing and harmful effects of the food we consume, whether it’s a spoonful of seeds that contain incredible amounts of micronutrients which nourish our body, or the harmful effects of eating processed meat which results in the needless death of an animal, the mixing in of cancer causing nitrites and the destruction of land and atmosphere.


I studied Peace and Conflict and Political Science at university and I am a certified Culinary Nutritionist. I also have a blog where I share plant-based recipes. I have been wanting to create a one-stop shop for all things plant-based forever, and that is what the Plantry Goods is.
